The incredible back from the brink tale of Swansea City’s rise from near extinction to Premier League glory is being celebrated at the city’s Quadrant Shopping Centre with the launch of the DVD ‘Jack To A King: The Swansea Story’.

Stars from that glorious era will be at the HMV store in the Centre on Wednesday at 5pm to sign copies of the DVD and chat to fans.

They will include club legend Lee Trundle, now in a coaching role at the Liberty Stadium, who hit 78 goals in just 146 games to kickstart their rise to the Premiership.

Associate producer James Marsh said: “The rebirth of a neglected, provincial football club into genuine Premiere League contenders is both a modern day fairy tale and a gripping thriller.

“It’s a remarkable story which makes an irresistible, highly emotional film that will appeal to anyone who’s ever rooted for the underdog.”
