The junior team at Holyhead Rugby Football Club has scored with new kits from leading residential developer Anwyl Homes.

The housebuilder, currently building two, three and four bedroom homes at its Tyddyn Bach development in Llaingoch, has provided a full set of new shirts, shorts and socks for the athletic youngsters, all of which feature the Anwyl logo in white on the front.

Part of WRC, Holyhead RFC is a thriving community rugby club with seniors, womens, youth and junior teams.  The junior team trains together twice a week and takes part in competitive matches across North Wales and further afield at the weekend.  All coaching and management is done on a voluntary basis and the club relies solely on sponsorship and fundraising to ensure the teams have everything that they need.

Manager of the youth team, Terry Pendlebury, commented: “We are extremely grateful to Anwyl Homes for providing new kits and are looking forward to the start of the next season.  The boys certainly look fantastic and I am sure the new kits will drive the boys to perform at their very best over the coming months.”

Housing managing director at Anwyl Homes, Mathew Anwyl, added: “Developing so close to the Hawks’ training ground, we were delighted to be in a position to help out by providing these budding young rugby players with new kits for the forthcoming season.”
